HCMC wants to relocate 23 families from dilapidated apartment tower

Authorities have informed 23 households dwelling in a ramshackle condo block in HCMC’s District 5 the constructing may collapse and to maneuver to a skyscraper just a few kilometers away.

The town authorities has given permission to District 5 authorities to knock down the condo complicated on 440 Tran Hung Dao Road.

The households will stay briefly within the An Phu constructing in District 6 pending compensation and relocation.

The three-story condo complicated was constructed earlier than 1975 and is severely degraded.
