Macelleria Italian Steakhouse is poised to take over the two South Water Road location and open its first Connecticut location this spring. The Michelin-recognized restaurant group already has two areas in Westchester County, N.Y. — one in Armonk and one other in Pelham.

In line with the brand new restaurant’s web site, Macelleria, which suggests “butcher’s store” in Italian, will provide “American delicacies with an Italian aptitude,” serving up pasta, seafood and steak together with an “expertly curated wine checklist.”
