Brendan Heller has been named the coach of the Greenwich swimming and diving program, Greenwich athletic director Gus Lindine introduced Friday.

Heller, who coached the Woodland boys group final season, is taking on for Lorrie Hokayem, who stepped down following the 2020 marketing campaign.

Hokayem had coached the Cardinals for seven years, profitable FCIAC championships in 2017 and 2018, and Class LL championships for 5 consecutive seasons from 2014 to 2018. Greenwich additionally had a run of 4 straight State Open titles from 2015 to 2018.
