3 Nigerian nationals arrested with drugs worth Rs 10 lakh in Mumbai

Three Nigerian nationals have been arrested for allegedly peddling medication in Naigaon, Mumbai, police stated on Monday. Mira Bhayandar-Vasai Virar Police Commissionerate`s (MBVV) Anti Narcotic Cell made the arrests and seized from them 1,126 grams of Ketamine and MD medication with a road worth of over Rs 10 lakh.

Police made the arrests based mostly on a tip-off that medication have been being smuggled within the Naigaon space, after which the staff of Anti-Narcotics Cell raided and arrested the accused with medication. A case was registered towards the accused underneath the Narcotic Medicine and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Valeev police station. Additional investigation is underway.
